AUCKLAND Today: Kingsland-based integrated creative indie Dark Horse has won two international pieces of business (both Kiwi favourites) – Jockey (in a pitch) and SodaStream.

Dark Horse MD Mike Hewitt said: “Founded in 1876, Jockey has a long history of high quality and innovative products and it’s that reputation that Dark Horse plans to build on through comprehensive management of social media, events, content production, media relations and press office, as well as creative and strategy development.”

The incumbent on Sodastream is said to be Hustle & Bustle, while Jockey’s former agency could not be confirmed at press time (although Jockey, too, has worked previously with Hustle & Bustle).

Dark Horse’s first role for the full Jockey range will be the creative concepting and production of the All Blacks photoshoot in early 2021.

Jockey is an official sponsor of the All Blacks and All Blacks Sevens.

“Dark Horse’s first role for the full Jockey range will be the creative concepting and production of the All Blacks photoshoot in early 2021.”

Dark Horse will focus on digital and media activity, kicking off with the introduction of SodaStream’s newest brand ambassador in its biggest campaign to date, featuring rap legend Snoop Dogg.

The agency will manage the NZ social media, digital campaign and public relations surrounding new campaigns and product releases throughout the remainder of the year and heading into 2021.

Mike Hewitt: “With every pitch our strategic direction and ability to offer clients a diverse range of services under one roof continues to set us apart.”
