The NZ Innovation Awards – which are about creativity in all fields of endeavour (including a dedicated Marketing/Comms/Media category) have issued the entry call for their 7th annual awards.

There are 12 industry category awards open for entry, including Agribusiness, Design in Engineering, Food & Beverage … and Innovation in Media, Marketing & Communications (sponsored by our dear friends at Stop Press).

This category celebrates organisations and individuals using unique means to bring a product, service or business to market. The awards site describes the category this way: How do you tell a story and engage people’s hearts and minds with what you are selling or promoting? This might include advertising or PR campaigns, packaging design, creative campaigns, social media, web design, events, application of gaming and different media as well as marketing initiatives across all industries. It might include the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) to provide marketing and media experiences, tools and solutions.

Enter at the website (scroll down), where you’ll also find more info, and the categories. Entries cost $75+gst

“Tell us how your innovation changes our world,” says Andy Blackburn, of the NZ Innovation Council.

“Get savvy business advice,” he suggests. “We have a fabulous team of evaluators on board who take the time to give every entry, tips on how to grow your business – make the most of their expertise. We have designed the entry form so that it’s super easy to enter.

“And just taking the time to enter can help you identify gaps and improvements across your business.”
