Instagram has announced that more than 200,000 advertisers around the world are now using the platform to reach customers already on Instagram.
The result was based on an Instagram user survey conducted in November 2015, just five months after the photo-sharing app opened up its advertising to businesses globally.
That total puts it ahead of Twitter (140,000), but still well behind parent Facebook, which claims over 2 million active advertisers.
