Storytelling agency Intelligent Ink has been selected as a finalist AUT Business School Excellence in Business Support Awards – a first for the Auckland shop.

“When it comes to supporting business, it’s all about having the right words,” said general manager Verity Craft.

“We love helping businesses tell their stories, so to be recognised for supporting our fantastic clients to do what they do best is fantastic.

“A small business ourselves, we understand that it’s vital to have the right partners and support systems in place, and we’re thrilled to be selected among so many others who are helping businesses succeed.”

Intelligent Ink was founded five years ago by Christina Wedgwood, who believes every business has an untold story to tell. “The team of Inkers, made up of copywriters and PR professionals, love uncovering those stories and sharing them with their clients’ audiences,” Craft said.

“They work with a range of businesses and organisations, including Madison Recruitment, Customer Radar, Lifewise and the Entrepreneurs Organization Auckland.

The AUT Business School Excellence in Business Support Awards is the only national performance measure for New Zealand business support organisations.

“AUT’s Business School differentiates itself with the depth of engagement with industry for the benefit of staff and students,” said AUT Business School acting dean, Professor Kate Kearins. “These annual awards are one of the ways we demonstrate our commitment to industry.”

In evaluating finalist applications, the judges will consider: leadership and planning, customer and market focus, provision of business support and evaluation and improvement, with a focus on results.

Winners of the ten category awards and the supreme award will be named at a gala dinner on Wednesday 5 October.
