JWT & Fish shoot new Auckland Uni campaign (updated)

The University of Auckland’s role in creating future leaders, driving world-class research, and shaping social and economic change is brought to life in Never Stop, a new integrated brand campaign created by J Walter Thompson New Zealand.

“The University of Auckland is New Zealand’s leading university and one of its most innovative organisations, with world-class teaching and research,” says JWT NZ ECD Justin Barnes.

“The Never Stop campaign brings this relentlessness to life in a way that’s as unique, diverse and distinctive as the university itself.”

The University of Auckland is the country’s largest and most comprehensive tertiary institution: its student population of 42,000 includes more than 6000 international students representing over 110 countries. Once again, it has been ranked as New Zealand’s leading university in the 2017 QS World University Rankings – and is the only Kiwi university to make it into the top 100, worldwide.

University of Auckland director of communications & marketing Dianne Head said: “This campaign celebrates our desire for unending progress, and the university’s mission to continuously strive for a better world.”

The multi-layered campaign, which spans television, online film content, outdoor and digital channels, launched last Sunday.

The release advising M+AD of this new campaign was sent by a PR outlet in Singapore, so no credits are available.

JWT NZ ECD Justin Barnes was in a meeting when we called for more details, but a helpful receptionist told us the film company was Flying Fish.
