Assignment Group has again enlisted Nigella Lawson to front Whittaker’s latest drive for world domination. This time around she’s shot four TVCs to promote the brand’s new artisan chocolate.
And again Whittaker’s have demonstrated insightful marketing nous by inserting much-loved local brand Kaitaia Fire and other uniquely NZ flavours – plus an exotic Samoan ingredient – into the new range, underscoring the tarnished global look (think palm oil) of its No 1 competitor, Cadbury.
The new varieties include Hawkes Bay Braeburn Apple with Vanilla in white chocolate, Marlborough Sea Salt and Caramel Brittle in milk chocolate, Nelson Pear & Manuka Honey in milk chocolate, Waikato Grown Aromatic Oolong Tea in dark chocolate, Kaitaia Fire Chili Pepper Spice in dark chocolate, and Single Origin Samoan Cacao in extra dark chocolate.
There’s a 30sec and 3 x 15sec in the new series below.
Assignment wins Kapiti
Meanwhile, Assignment Group is reported to have won the creative account for premium Fonterra dairy brand Kapiti, following a pitch against unnamed agencies.
