Kiwis hold their own in the shortlist (Updated)

SYDNEY, Friday: NZ is shining at the Australasian shortlist stage of Campaign Asia Pacific Awards – led by NZ Agency of the Year finalists DDB, Special Group, Colenso BBDO, and media shops Mediacom, OMD and PHD – plus DDB’s Nikki McKelvie & Michael Doolan.

Special, DDB and Colenso scored in the Creative section, while DDB and Special scored in Digital.

McKelvie was named a finalist in the ANZ Account Person of the Year, and Michael Doolan was nominated to the ANZ Young Achiever of the Year shortlist.

OMD NZ, Mediacom NZ & PHD NZ are also in the Media AoY shortlist mix.

Shortlisted for ANZ PR Agency of the Year was Sling & Shot NZ.

The winners will be unveiled at the ANZ gala presentation at the Ritz Carlton Millenia Singapore on Thursday 12 December. Tickets cost an impressive US$600 (NZ$937).

Yet to be announced are the ANZ Production Company of the Year, and the ANZ Social Media Agency of the Year.
