Tourism Malaysia has this month unveiled its New Zealand incarnation of MORE of Malaysia to Celebrate Every Day campaign via Publicis Malaysia, according to a report in Campaign Brief.

Created for the Oceania market, the campaign hinges around the central theme of there being “MORE to celebrate every day in Malaysia”.

Publicis Malaysia ceo Dean Bramham said the campaign is designed to inspire visitors about the myriad special occasions and events travellers can expect to experience every day, right around Malaysia.

Tourism Malaysia New Zealand director Zalina Ahmad says the campaign as speaking about the “unique experiences and celebrations that are close to Kiwis’ hearts”. These include cultural and nature-based celebrations that range from music festivals in Borneo to culinary celebrations such as the KL Big Kitchen food festival in May.”

Tourism Malaysia has focused the campaign around six compelling tourism experiences to demonstrate the diversity of the destination. These include: Eco, Island, Spa and Wellness, Homestays, Legoland and Food.

Integrated within these key experiences are the ‘celebratory’ experiences in the form of special events and festivals.

New Zealand channels include out-of-home in the form of bus wraps and billboards in key locales of Auckland and Wellington.

The campaign will also provide a launch platform for the launch of Tourism Malaysia’s revamped consumer website and domain change which is now www.malaysia.travel.
