AUCKLAND, Wednesday: 100 or so media, marketing and indie agency types got together at Karangahape Road’s Hallertau Tap Haus last night for the inaugural Marketers+Media Meetup (#MMMU).
Vaughn Davis, owner of ad agency The Goat Farm, created the event to bring local people from the industry together for a “long-overdue” post-lockdown catchup, and to launch his upcoming book Covid Schmovid – 19 ways to make your small business boom*.
“Despite turning out be pre-lockdown as well as post, Davis & Martell say a sequel is in the works ‘this side of Xmas’.”
Matt Martell, publisher at news site BusinessDesk, jumped in as soon as he heard about the event to sponsor refreshments.
