AUCKLAND, Today: MBM has today announced the promotion of Penelope Brown to the newly created position of general manager Auckland. Brown has recently returned from maternity leave. She originally joined MBM in 2016 as client services director and became a shareholder in the business.

Her new role involves taking overall responsibility for the account service function of the Auckland office, ensuring the entire MBM product and service offering is market leading, and helping set the future direction for the company along with the managing partners and management team.

With a media career spanning 17 years across both the New Zealand and Australian markets and experience leading multiple business categories, she says is passionate about delivering strategic media solutions for clients.

MBM managing partner Sean McCready said Brown has a proven track record in delivering award winning and effective work and thought leadership.

“Coming back into this new role gives me a real sense of pride.”

“It’s great to have Pen back on board,” he said. “She is one of the best client managers in the industry and with her energy and strategic smarts back in the mix, I know that both our clients and MBM will continue to succeed and grow.

“I believe our senior team is the one of the strongest around and having Pen back on board adds even more depth.”

Penelope Brown said: “I am thrilled to be back amongst the MBM familia. It has been an epic four years for me personally, seeing the agency grow from 30 to 80 staff while delivering success to our clients through the breadth and depth of offerings we have here at MBM.
