mediaR warms up the Aussies

Auckland indie shop mediaR has shot two new 30-second brand TVCs for Bradford Optimo Underfloor Insulation and Bradford Soundscreen Australia.

mediaR managing director Tony Richards says the ads come “on the back of our successful multi-platform relaunch last year of Bradford Gold Insulation and Acoustic Gold Insulation, featuring two well educated builders expousing the virtues of Bradford Gold insulation.

As well as the 30s, there are a number of 15-second dealer versions.

“The two new commercials take a new direction from the advertisement scenarios used here in NZ,” says Richards.

“But both still play off a slightly humorous platform based on the premise of ‘Keep yourself comfortable Australia’.

“The Optimo version launched last month and to date the leads that have been generated have more than doubled the sales of the previous year.

“A microsite developed specifically for the campaign has also generated an unexpected level of success.”

Richards said working with the CSR Bradford team in Australia was a brilliant experience. “We were thrilled to be approached based on the the work we had done here in NZ.

“What’s even more pleasing, is the level of response and the resulting sales the Optimo TVC has had in the market.

“campaigns aim is to motivate the trade, re-introduce the brand to consumers, and charm – all with a wry smile.”

The second of the two commercials launches in September.
