MediaWorks Radio remains the most popular radio network in New Zealand, according to the latest GfK survey, reaching 2,262,100 listeners every week across its nine radio brands – an increase of 53,200 from November 2016.

Total audience share for New Zealand is singing the same tune with MediaWorks stations laying claim to 51.4% of the listening audience.

“The results signalled a strong 2017 was under way for MediaWorks brands who are focused on delivering the best content across the board,” said MediaWorks music content director Leon Wratt.

“I could not be more proud of the team. We are thrilled to remain the most popular radio network in the country – and that we hold on to the top three spots across Breakfast (the AM show) and Drive nationally. Once again this demonstrates that our brands, talent and content continue to connect with New Zealanders everywhere and that we truly are the home of the crucial 25-54 audience.

A huge congratulations to our staff and a big thank you to our advertisers and clients for their ongoing support.”
