Arrivals & Departures: MediaWorks taps Married at First Sight producer

AUCKLAND, Today: MediaWorks has appointed Hayley Cunningham to the position of senior network executive for Three. She’s has been with MediaWorks since 2012, initially as a freelance Producer and most recently as Three’s head of development.

Prior to her time at MediaWorks, Cunningham was a producer on multiple seasons of The Amazing Race Australia (Seven Network), The Amazing Race Israel (Reshet), The Amazing Race Asia (Sony AXN) and The Amazing Race Philippines (TV5).

Her achievements include winning an International Emmy for the Cape Town episode of The Amazing Race Australia (season one) as well as taking out the Best Comedy Programme award in the 2009 Qantas Film & Television Awards as co-creator and producer of the Jaquie Brown Diaries (season one).

Hayley Cunningham said: “Being part of the team at Three means working on some of the best local shows in television. From the glitter and sequins of Dancing with the Stars to the ultimate social experiment that is Married at First Sight NZ, I take pride in producing top quality local content that our audience relates to, and enjoys watching.”

MediaWorks chief content officer Andrew Szusterman said: “Hayley, along with her peers John McDonald and Sue Woodfield, continue to oversee New Zealand’s most loved entertainment content. Her title change fully reflects the breadth of her role within the team.”
