OMD has introduced the ad business to the latest successful grads from its annual graduate recruitment programme which sees the agency take on around six graduates every year in an internship capacity.
The agency continues to invest heavily in up-and-coming talent in the industry – the successful graduates selected from across the country this year are Milton Brown, Sandra Smoljo, Hannah Merritt, Sarah Donald, Sophie van Duiven and Caroline O’Fee.
To be selected the graduates partake in several interview rounds, undertake a series of assessments and present to senior staff. The internship is a nine-month programme for dynamic, motivated team players who go the extra mile.
“Essentially we see this as an investment in the future of the industry,” said OMD ceo Kath Watson. “It is a great way to educate rising talent on the fundamentals of our business. It educates them on all aspects of the business so they can decide where they want to specialise.”
