SYDNEY, Wednesday: WPP has launched the logo and website for its recently formed brand Wunderman Thompson – a creative, data and technology agency “built to inspire growth for clients, people and partners”.
In November last year, WPP merged JWT and Wunderman to form Wunderman Thompson. The merger was part of WPP’s major restructure and impacted a global workforce of around 20,000 in 200 locations across 90 markets, including Australasia.
The new brand was created by WPP design agency Landor San Francisco, and coincided with the launch of a new microsite, which aims to better explain what the agency does along with its structure.
Wunderman Thompson global ceo Mel Edwards said: “To achieve transformative outcomes, clients today need inspiration that is rooted in data-driven insight.
“I’m really excited to be able to deliver that within one agency”.
Not in NZ
Despite the “ANZ” in the company’s local brand, the merged agency no longer has an office in NZ – the nearest branches are in Melbourne & Sydney.
