The billboard and bus assets of Big Picture, Go Outdoor and regional specialist Bacbou, have been consolidated into a new company, Go Media – a move which creates the third largest nationwide Outdoor operator, with offices servicing the three main metros.

“This makes it easy for media agencies to buy key assets nationally from one company,” said managing director Jon Drumm (formerly of Big Picture). “Go Media are the largest independent operator in NZ and the largest operator in the Christchurch market.”

Drumm says Go Outdoor and Big Picture already held the contracts for both Christchurch bus companies plus almost 100 billboard sites in the Canterbury region alone. “In addition, the key billboards in the South Island provincial towns and bus advertising means we are without doubt the go-to company in the South Island,” Drumm said.

“The Bacbou merger contributes a high level of billboard penetration into the North Island provincial regions, and the existing Big Picture and Go outdoor assets ensure the CBDs are covered in Wellington and Auckland.”

Go Media has also recently picked up the Auckland Airbus advertising contract.
