NEW YORK, Thursday: Last night’s D&AD Impact Awards were a New Zealand-free zone – D&AD’s Amelia Walker confirmed to M+AD this morning that no NZ entries were among the winners.

It was a lean show also for Australia – unless you count Transtasman producer Finch, which won one White Pencil (equivalent to Silver) for Mars Pedigree.

In total, 32 Pencils were awarded to pioneering products, initiatives and campaigns that are addressing some of the globe’s most pressing issues.

D&AD Impact is a global initiative and awards programme that exists to showcase how creative thinking can be a force for good, in the belief that purpose can enhance business success and value, alongside promoting collective responsibility for the global sustainability agenda.
