New NYC awards show taps Thelma & Louise director

NEW YORK, Today: New York Festivals International Advertising Awards, and the Genius 100 Foundation (G100) will partner to launch a new award to honour global “outstanding purpose-driven creative work that inspires action to create impact”.

The G100 Inspiration Award will be judged by a panel of “100 globally recognised, accomplished, compassionate minds”, including …

  • Director/producer Sir Ridley Scott (Thelma & Louise, Gladiator, Alien, Black Hawk Down, Blade Runner).
  • Transparency International & Bring Back Our Girls co-founder Obiageli Ezekwesili.
  • MullenLowe Group UK CCO Jose Miguel Sokoloff (also an internationally renowned peace advocate).

The Genius 100 Foundation brings together visionaries, philanthropic impact investors and its extended global community, collectively and in collaboration, to re-imagine the future – and raise the bar on what is achievable.

The deadline is Friday 2 April.

Entries into the Genius 100 Inspiration Category will be reviewed by the New York Festivals grand jury, and the Genius 100 executive jury panel.
