No neon glow for Kiwis at healthcare awards

No reward for NZ agencies at New York’s Global Awards, held at parallel ceremonies in Sydney and New York over the weekend. The Globals honour the world’s best healthcare advertising.

McCann Health was named Global Healthcare Agency Network of the Year, Langland UK was Healthcare Agency of the Year, FCB Health won Local Healthcare Agency Network of the Year, and the Grand Global went to Grey Group Singapore

The ceremony in Sydney was hosted by the Global Awards and Bravo!, a group of Australian healthcare agencies and the Communications Council of Australia.

The Global Awards grand jury recognised Australian agencies with three Global Awards and 10 Finalist certificates.

Nomad & Deepend Sydney won a Global for Sound Storm, an iPad auditory training game for children suffering with Spatial Processing Disorder; Ogilvy CommonHealth Sydney took home a Global Award for Still Going Strong for client Metacam/ Prescription anti-inflammatory medication for cats & dogs; and Ward6’s Global came for Medicine Grown From Science for client Flordis.

The US show was held at the New York Academy of Sciences in New York City; the Sydney show at Studio X in the heart of Kings Cross (directly under the iconic Coca-Cola neon sign).
