PARIS, Sunday: Following a clean sweep by big-name Northern Hemisphere agencies, New Zealand and Australia scored virtually no prizes in the Epica Awards 2022 – the only global creative show conducted by journalists.
The result clearly indicates that Epica is not valued by AUNZ shops – despite widespread publicity in M+AD Daily NZ and Aussie site Campaign Brief.
France-based Epica editorial director commented: “It’s true that NZ and Australia typically don’t enter a great deal.

“The winners and shortlist are decided on the scores given to each piece by the jury, so unfortunately it seems this year only one of those pieces made the cut [one item out of BWS Recruitment Melbourne].
The Gold and Grand Prix winners will be screened during an online ceremony this Thursday 8 December. Silver and Bronze winners will be published on the Epica Awards website the next day.
