AUCKLAND, Today: UnLtd, a social impact organisation for the media, marketing, and creative industries in Australia, is set to launch into New Zealand.

UnLtd currently works with over 20 charities in the youth at risk in Australia. The organisation unlocks the skills, time and resources of the media, marketing and creative industries, to drive value to their charity partners.

Since 2005 UnLtd has created over $150 million in value, positively impacting hundreds of thousands of young lives. This includes end-to-end marketing campaign production and placement, sourcing media inventory donations, fundraising events, and volunteering.

UnLtd also recently launched a social enterprise, Mood Tea. All profits generated from the mood-enhancing teas go towards youth mental health initiatives. Mood is now stocked in 865 Woolworths stores across Australia.

UnLtd/Mood Tea ceo Chris Freel said “We are so excited to enter the New Zealand market and partner with adland and local charities to make an impact.

“Using our skills and positions for good has a positive effect for all involved, and is really the secret to our success and momentum over the past 17 years.”

UnLtd founder Kerry McCabe (a Kiwi) said, “The New Zealand and Australian markets share many similarities and a common commitment to making a positive social impact.

“UnLtd and partner Yahoo will be holding a welcome reception at La Zeppa Auckland on Tuesday 30 August. All in the industry are invited.”

“UnLtd is the vehicle for effectively channelling our energy, influence and skills to making a meaningful difference in the lives of at-risk young people.

“I am of course biased but I see no reason why our NZ chapter won’t fast become a beacon of innovation and help UnLtd to evolve its offering and impact.”

UnLtd will initially be selecting three New Zealand founded charities to add to the portfolio. UnLtd will assess each charity’s needs and match them with companies and individuals from across the industry to drive tangible outcomes.

In preparation for launch, UnLtd is on the hunt for a general manager to spearhead the organisation in Aotearoa.

Freel: “Our new GM will need to be well known and respected by the local media, marketing and creative industry. They should have an insatiable desire to make a social impact, and be a great hustler and motivator who can galvanise an entire industry for good.

“It’s a tough but highly rewarding role, and a great opportunity to positively impact the lives of those most in need.”

UnLtd, in partnership with long-standing partner Yahoo, will be holding a welcome reception at La Zeppa Auckland from 4pm on Tuesday 30 August. All in the industry are invited.
