Kiwis’ engagement with print newspapers and magazines shows no signs of cooling, according to the latest quarterly toplines released Friday by Nielsen NZ.

All major titles in both sectors are holding steady in total readership numbers, and their relationship with the population (expressed in percentages).

All the major newsprint titles (NZ Herald, Waikato Times, Dominion Post, ODT, The Press) comfortably retained marketshare – with the Herald on Sunday and the ODT snatching a little extra.

Top magazine performers include Metro, Mindfood, North & South, and Urbis.

One of the few magazines to lose ground was Skywatch (down just two percentage points).
