Clemenger BBDO Wellington and Curious Film have shared a Gold at the 2014 A-List Hollywood Advertising Craft Awards.

The gong was yet another for the NZTA’s celebrated anti-dope driving spot Blazed, which took out the Acting Performance category, along with a Bronze for Copywriting.

Clemenger Wellington also won a Silver and a Bronze for NZTA Mistakes in Direction and Acting Performance.

The A-List Hollywood Film Advertising Craft Awards focus on the commercial advertising production and post production industry.

The competition and festival is held in conjunction with the Los Angeles International Short Film Festival, accredited by the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts & Sciences and the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) – 44 of its participating filmmakers have earned Academy Award nominations; 13 have won Oscars.

“Testament to the triumph of skilled commercial craftsmanship, this spot continues to please audiences around the world and cement Curious’ reputation as Australasia’s most awarded production company,” said Curious president Peter Grasse, modestly.
