NZ agencies and producers won a total of 15 Gold Pencils – led by Colenso BBDO (five Golds), O&M (four), DDB (three), Assembly (two) and Clemenger BBDO Wellington (one) – at Friday’s 39th AWARD Australia Awards held at Carriageworks Sydney as part of the Semi Permanent festival.
Agency of the Year was Host/Havas Australia. DDB ranked #3 in Agency of the Year and Colenso at #5. Auckland production company Assembly also ranked #5 Production Company of the Year. Netsafe has ranked #3 Client of the Year followed by New Zealand Police in at #4.
Host/Havas also took home the most Gold Pencils of the evening, scoring seven.
Sweet Shop & Goodoil also mine Gold
Three Golds were also awarded to The Sweet Shop, and two to Goodoil Films were all awarded two gold awards.
