
AUCKLAND, Friday: The Comms Council has announced that New Zealand Story will sponsor the 2023 Effie Awards International Marketing category.
Comms Council communications manager Axl Arthur said: “This exciting partnership underscores our commitment to recognising and honouring exceptional campaigns that have achieved outstanding results for New Zealand-based companies in international markets.
“The New Zealand Story Group’s purpose is to expand Aotearoa New Zealand’s reputation and value internationally through storytelling. It shares our passion for celebrating campaigns that have demonstrated remarkable success and elevated the reputation of New Zealand worldwide.”
“The awards ceremony will take place on Thursday 26 October, at the Auckland Town Hall.”
New Zealand Story ceo David Downs said: “In a competitive global economy, reputation matters – and raising the profile of Aotearoa is what this award is celebrating.
“We’re looking for campaigns that have shown a compelling and aspirational story about New Zealand, that’s grounded in our values and resonates with the world.”
Entries for the 2023 Effie Awards, in association with TVNZ, opened last month. The deadline for early bird submissions is Wednesday 2 August, providing entrants with a discounted rate. The final deadline for submissions (fees apply) is Wednesday 9 August.
The awards ceremony will take place on Thursday 26 October, at the Auckland Town Hall.
