NZME Events in partnership with Deloitte have revealed that the official annual Deloitte Top 200 awards will be held on Thursday 1 December at the Vector Arena.

The awards are celebrating their 27th year, having been established in 1990 to annually recognise and applaud outstanding individual and team performances in New Zealand’s largest companies and trading organisations.

NZME ceo Michael Boggs says the awards are a great opportunity to commend excellence and achievement in the business community. “NZME is thrilled to partner with Deloitte to bring this prestigious event to the business community once again,” he said.

“It’s a great opportunity to celebrate everything that makes a successful business; leadership, entrepreneurship, strategy and growth.”

The black tie event celebrates excellence in a number of categories – Diversity Leadership, Most Improved Performance, Best Growth Strategy, Young Executive of the Year, Excellence in Governance, Chairperson of the Year, Visionary Leader, Chief Financial Officer and Executive of the Year, and Company of the year. Laura McGoldrick & Greg Boyed will MC the event.

The theme of this year’s event is Investing in the Future. This year’s judges are independent director Dame Alison Paterson, business journalist Fran O’Sullivan, Forsyth Barr MD Neil Paviour-Smith, independent director Sandy Maier, independent director Jonathan Mason and lawyer Cathy Quinn (Minter Ellison Rudd Watts).
