Ogilvy buys top digital shop

Ogilvy Australia has bolstered its digital capability, acquiring STW-owned Bullseye, one of the region’s leading integrated digital marketing and technology services agency. The deal sees Ogilvy acquire 100% of Bullseye, which has more than 100 staff in offices in Sydney, Melbourne, Auckland and Indonesia including an offshore production facility.

It is still not clear what will happen to the two Bullseye sales staff who make up the Auckland office. Presumably, they’ll be absorbed into the greater agency in Stanley St. At press time, M+AD had been unable to confirm this with Ogilvy & Mather Auckland.

Britomart-based Bullseye Auckland was launched in February last year. Its client list includes Auckland Airport, Barfoot & Thompson, and Lóreal.
