After a competitive pitch in late 2017, OMD has won the Menarini NZ media account with work commencing this month.

Menarini, a privately owned Italian pharmaceutical company with over 13,000 employees globally, have been active locally since January 2016.

The NZ creative agency is Insight (appointed in 2017); the media agency incumbent – yet to be confirmed – is believed to be Starcom.

OMD ceo Nigel Douglas says he is thrilled to start 2018 strong. “We are really excited to bring a healthcare client into the building and are looking forward to working closely with Menarini to achieve their vision of being a leading provider of healthcare brands,” he said.

“Menarini NZ has established a solid foundation upon which to launch innovative new products for the benefit of New Zealand consumers.”

Menarini NZ general manager Josh Duncan said: We are excited to be partnering with an industry leading organisation such as OMD and regard their appointment as a crucial next step in the company’s growth in New Zealand.”
