VeNA announces exclusive partnership with iClick Interactive, to provide New Zealand advertisers with access to Chinese audiences.

For clients looking to advertise into China, or target the lucrative Chinese audience here in New Zealand, Apac ad/tech company VeNA now offers delivery across a range of media planning and buying solutions, to provide a fully integrated one stop shop for Chinese audiences via an exclusive partnership with iClick Interactive.

“We are thrilled to be partnering with VeNA in New Zealand to help marketers tap into the Chinese audience, “ said Kelly Leung, iClick Interactive’s Hong Kong-based vice-president of agency business.

“As we expand globally, we continue to learn about how important the Chinese consumers are to many markets. Through our platform, we can help reach this audience through a combination of our access to the premium inventories of Chinese publishers such as Baidu and Tencent and offer unique data sets to pinpoint the right audience at the right time.”

VeNA NZ general manager Toni Knowles says: “China has historically presented some challenges for digital marketers – namely lack of transparency, no strong ad tech and data solutions, as well as potentially difficult business and cultural access.

“Our partnership with iClick Interactive allows us to solve these challenges, and offers Western expertise combined with Chinese resources and knowledge. What sets iClick Interactive apart is their access to leading Chinese publishers, expertise, data, and technology.”

In addition to being able to advertise into China, Knowles says there is a huge opportunity to reach New Zealand Chinese communities, including the expats working in New Zealand, luxury travellers and students.

“With Chinese New Year fast approaching, tens of thousands of Chinese holidaymakers are expected to touch down in New Zealand,” she says. “Tourism New Zealand reports that for the last few years, China has been our fastest growing visitor market and current predictions are for Chinese visitor numbers to more than double from 2016 to 2022 to around 921,000 visitors spending more than $5.3 billion annually.”
