Ford and JWT recruited a team of five Kiwi professional racing and rally drivers to shoot the new precision driving TVC to promote the five models in the Ford Focus range.
The drivers work through Auckland-based performance driving & events specialist Downforce www.downforce.co.nz.
The shoot took place at Ardmore Aerodrome a couple of months back. “It was cool,” recalls V8 SuperTourer driver Mark Gibson. “This was my first commercial.
“We formed a study group, then rehearsed each manoeuvre during the day, and put them all together at the night shoot at with the tarmac wetted down to get the shine.
“Everything aligned perfectly. Doing the basics was simple, but synchronising the sound and refining the small tasks was quite demanding.”
