Phantom stick-up

“Despite our name, we don’t operate a ghostly, fly-by-night service – installing posters in 6000+ frames each week from Whangarei to Invercargill is a dawn-to-dusk logistics act,” reads the latest Phantom Billstickers flyer – and, as usual with comms from this lively outfit, it’s a good read.

“Here’s how Phantom Billstickers gets your campaign up on time, and in the right place,” the message continues …

“Two weeks before campaign start: Waterproof and weather resistant, our posters are printed using a unique Weathertech process. This procedure can’t be rushed. To ensure your campaign always looks its best, we need artwork as soon as your booking’s confirmed.

Thursday: Cut-off day. Printed material is ready to go live. Much as we love to be flexible, those frames need to be filled.

Friday: Our team are working non-stop, packing and dispatching posters around the country. The adrenaline flows and the music plays, but it’s a pretty tense time.

Saturday: The Phantom install teams hit the streets at 5am. We have employees (not contractors) on the spot from Whangarei to Invercargill – they won’t rest until every last poster is installed, with a photographic record uploaded to our new Pasted app.

Sunday: Installs continue …

Monday: You come into work clasping your morning coffee. By end of day, you’ve received an email from Phantom providing a detailed record of your live campaign. Relax – everything’s taken care of!”
