Jacinda Ardern and the NZ Herald are leading a push to integrate creativity into all areas of NZ society, following the release of a Creative NZ survey yesterday.

“I believe arts and creativity are integral and inseparable parts of what it is to be human,” she wrote in the Herald’s double-page A-section spread.

The online survey of 6000 Kiwis showed that a growing number of us believe we are not creative.

Ardern is expected soon to unveil details of a new five-year arts initiative aimed at young people.
