The Public Relations Institute of New Zealand (PRINZ) has announced two international speakers at this year’s senior professionals event Doing Well + Doing Good, which is designed to help practitioners to help causes they feel passionate about.

“Joining us from the United States, IBM’s David Raper will discuss what the Fortune 500 company has learnt from its extensive CSR and citizenship programmes including its Corporate Service Corps – 3000 employees consulting for free on over 1000 projects around the world,” says PRINZ comms advisor Rheanna Kingma.

“If you’ve always wanted to meet a unicorn then you are in luck – Savannah Peterson, the Chief Unicorn and founder of Savvy Millennial, will bring a ‘socially minded’ millennial viewpoint to the day’s proceedings and talk about what we all can learn from the uber-collaborative millennial attitude.

“Savannah was featured in the 2016 Forbes 30 Under 30 in Consumer Technology list and is a respected voice in innovation and community engagement.

“The event will be facilitated by one of New Zealand’s leading PR practitioners and social marketers, Tracey Bridges.”

Other speakers include Sue McCabe, co-founder of Community Comms Collective, and Kirsten Patterson, ceo of the Institute of Directors.

The event will be held in Auckland on Monday 6 November at the Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron.

Tickets cost $425 (for PRINZ members), $765 (non-members). Discounts available for groups and PRINZ Academic members.
