CHRISTCHURCH, Thursday: QMS has acquired Etc Media’s premium Christchurch digital billboard portfolio, adding 12 large-format digital billboards to its existing national network.

The additions bring QMS Christchurch’s large-format portfolio to 15 – and, says the company, “further extends our market leadership position, with NZ’s largest, large-format digital network encompassing Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch, Whangarei, Hamilton, Tauranga, Rotorua and New Plymouth.

Further network expansion across New Zealand is anticipated in 2019, as MediaWorks consolidates its recent merger with QMS.

MediaWorks Outdoor media director Mike Porter said: “QMS has always had a strong market position in Christchurch, and this acquisition represents a return to our heritage, delivering unmatched coverage in NZ’s second largest city.

“Etc’s high-quality portfolio provides our clients with access to audiences across Christchurch’s inner CBD and key suburban arterials.
