Shout expands into street posters

Auckland CBD-based billboard company Shout Media has launched a new premium street poster business, rolling out as you read this article. This will see Shout launch over 500 individually framed MAX A0 posters in premium locations across the three main centres before the year end, with aggressive plans in place to build on this in the immediate future.

The launch includes inventory recently purchased from Profile Plus, a niche Auckland street poster operator.

Shout managing director Paul Kenny says he’s delighted to be adding this rapidly growing outdoor category to the Shout portfolio. “When we launched Shout in 2012 we identified a gap in the ambient/alternative out of home sector,” he said.

“We believe we have the same situation with street posters. It’s currently a monopoly which isn’t in the best interests of advertisers and we’ll be able to provide advertisers greater choice. Our aim, however, is to grow the street poster market by introducing new categories of advertisers to this exciting and extremely cost-effective media.

“You will see our street posters in must-have areas such as Ponsonby Central, Newmarket, and across all three major CBDs. As well as these high-profile areas, Shout will continue to develop new sites nationally including Hamilton, Tauranga and Dunedin.

“Shout is fully committed to quality installs – get in touch today for more information on this. Our standard posters will be portrait MAX A0 size, although all sizes can be accommodated on a case-by-case basis.

“While street posters adds to the breadth of the Shout Media portfolio you can be reassured we will continue to specialise in the bespoke out-of-home media campaigns we have become notorious for, as well as being Air New Zealand’s exclusive portal for booking any related media such as Infight Entertainment, Grabaseat, Trigger Coms, and e-Tickets.”
