A social media campaign for breast cancer awareness has managed to circumvent Facebook’s censorship rules surrounding nudity by replacing a woman’s nipples with singing mouths.
The ad for the Argentinian charity The Help Movement for Breast Cancer is called Todos aman las tetas (Everybody Loves Boobs) and starts with a woman wearing a dressing gown bearing the logos of Facebook and Instagram.
“Social networks continue censoring nipples, even in those cases to make aware about breast cancer. It is time to talk stronger against censorship,” a female narrator says.
The ad is the work of US agency David, which is garnering a reputation for zany campaigns.
