Smoke lights up Uber’s Women’s Day campaign

Auckland production house Smoke has teamed up with local production house Frame By Frame and Uber Singapore to soundtrack ttheir campaign film for International Women’s Day.

Titled #DrivenWomen (scroll down for the link), the film brings together a group of female drivers who share their stories, challenging the prevailing stereotypes.

The campaign was delivered across Uber’s channels in Asia, including Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines, Vietnam, Hong Kong and Taiwan. It also featured in CNBC’s roundup of International Women’s Day top brand campaigns.

The bespoke track which sees out the second half of the film was composed and recorded at Smoke’s Kingsland studios by Nic Manders, and features a debut vocal from Marianne Wren, a development artist from their community.
