Christchurch-based billboard operator Go Media has won the Mana/Newlands bus advertising contract for the greater Wellington area. The incumbent was iSite.
Greater Wellington is a big area, running from the Wellington CBD, up through Johnsonville, Newlands, Tawa, Whitby, Raumati, Paraparaumu and Waikanae.
Go Media already holds the Wellington UZABUS contract which gives the company exclusivity in the bus market through to Otaki.
“This is a massive contract for Go Media and represents almost 25% of the Greater Wellington bus market,” says Go’s Jonny Drumm. “It’s a real game changer for the Wellington OOH marketplace.
“Go Media has dominated the South Island bus advertising market for some time but the Mana Bus contract, alongside the recent Auckland Airbus agreement, secures Go Media as a truly nationwide Bus Media player with many exclusive routes.”
The contract becomes effective July 1.
