Special Group has landed a role on the Qantas roster, working on the airline’s campaign for its new Business Suite on the refurbished Qantas Airbus 330.
The Special Group TVC, which launched in Australia last weekend, features a woman struggling to stay awake, her eyelids fluttering as the shot zooms out to reveal she is enjoying the comfort of the new Qantas A330 Business Suite with fully flat bed.
The Australian campaign is running on SBS and pay TV channels, and is complemented by street furniture and airport billboards. It will also run across digital and Qantas social and owned channels.
Special Group launched an Australian office in June last year, hiring Whybin\TBWA ECDs Dave Bowman and Matty Burton as founding creative partners in September.
Special Group now joins Sydney agencies Lawrence Creative Strategy, R\GA, 303Lowe and The Hallway on the Qantas roster. OMD handles the airline’s media account.
