AUCKLAND, Today: Special Group has helped craft the first brand campaign for NZ’s largest passenger transport network, InterCity.

The campaign is spearheaded by a 60-second film that tells the story of a special long distance reunion starring “Brian the bear”, while showcasing the customer experience offered by InterCity’s modern fleet of buses.

Special Group ECD Gary McCreadie said: “InterCity journeys are part of the fabric of New Zealand, and visiting loved ones is filled with emotion.

“This brings to life the role we play in connecting people and places, and does it in a touching and memorable way.”

“We wanted to get that across in a really heart-warming way.”

Daniel Rode, of Entrada Travel Group, the parent company of InterCity, said: “InterCity has been bringing Kiwis together over 30 years, travelling to 600 destinations around the country.

“This new campaign brings to life the role we play in connecting people and places, and does it in a really touching and memorable way.”
