Pizza Hut asked Auckland PR agency Sherson Willis to develop a social content campaign to leverage its sponsorship of TVNZ 2’s Survivor New Zealand, drive conversation around Pizza Hut and increase sales.

Knowing that people love to debate pizza toppings, the agency created a Pizza Hut version of Survivor New Zealand, where 20 Pizza Hut toppings become the contestants and Pizza Hut fans have the opportunity to vote for their favourite toppings in a series of eliminations.

The four week Facebook campaign calls for Kiwis to vote for their preferred toppings using Facebook reaction buttons, with the last remaining ingredients forming a Survivor New Zealand pizza.
