AUCKLAND, Monday: Yesterday’s Clemenger shacks up with Colenso story – while essentially accurate in most respects – contained one fundamental flaw.
Mainly, we confused Clemenger BBDO (the agency, based in Wellington) with Clemenger Group Auckland.

Ed Dave Gapes responds: “Guilty as charged. We confused the agency with the Group – and we were too quick off the mark with the timing.
“And yes – we should’ve checked our information with Jim Gall – before we fired both barrels.”
