AdFest has announced the dates and theme for the 2019 festival, which will be held at the Royal Cliff Hotels Group, Pattaya, Thailand from Wednesday 20 March to Saturday 23 March.
Again, there will be two streams: Craft@AdFest (March 20-21) and Creative@AdFest (March 22-23).
AdFest prez Jimmy Lam said: “Craft@AdFest is dedicated to craft and technology, highlighting the latest production, digital, content and technology trends.
“Creative@AdFest is all about creativity – the DNA of AdFest – and will focus on inspiring and pushing the boundaries of the creative and communications industry in the Asia Pacific and MENA region.”
“The AdFest 2019 Lotus Awards entry call will be announced soon.”
Next year’s theme, Tmrrw.Tday, was devised by Eric Cruz, ECD at AKQA Shanghai in collaboration with the AdFest Collective, an advisory body made up of leading creative professionals.
The AdFest 2019 identity is designed by TBWA\Santiago Mangada Puno, led by CCO Melvin Mangada, said to be one of the most influential creatives in Philippine advertising. Mangada was jury president of Design Lotus and Print Craft Lotus at AdFest 2018.
AdFest will soon announce the call for entries for the AdFest 2019 Lotus Awards.
