The Sweet Shop takes the Fifth

The Sweet Shop was crowned Production Company of the Year at Axis last week – the fifth consecutive year the company has won NZ’s top film accolade.

One of the stars of the night was director Campbell Hooper’s Air New Zealand, Men in Black Safety Defenders, winning a Gold Axis for Animation, Design & VFX and Silver for PR.

It was also a great night for Mark Albiston and Tokio Marine Yesterday/Today, which was awarded Silver in Direction, Cinematography, Editing and Sound Design.

Steve Ayson’s Lotto Pop’s Gift picked up a Silver for Direction and Single TVC Under 30.

The Sweet Shop’s haul:
