SparkPHD’s Kim Gribble has won the second week of APN Outdoor’s Boards competition, a four-week long campaign programme to promote their premium network of large format, roadside billboards. Pete McRae from IKON and Rachel Stewart from OMD Auckland also picked up prizes.

“Kim was very pleased and chose the paddle board prize but it was too long to easily transport to the PHD office,” said APN Outdoor general manager Phil Clemas. “So we’ve made arrangements for the it to be delivered directly to her home”

The Boards competition offers weekly entrants the chance to win their choice of one of the following – a Channel Islands Neck Beard 5 Fin 6ft surfboard, or a Molokai 9ft paddle board or a snowboard (for men a Burton 2015 Custom snowboard and for women a K2 2015 Bright Lite snowboard).

“The talk about town has been very positive and our clients have been scrambling to get into the prize draws,” says Clemas.

In addition to the main weekly Boards prize, APN Outdoor is also giving away two Shifty-Woody Cruiser skateboards each week – won this time around by IKON’s Pete McRae and OMD’s Rachel Stewart.

APN Outdoor’s agency team are now in market offering clients the chance to enter.  The competition runs from June 15 to Friday week (July 10).

To enter the Boards competition, participants fill in a simple online survey detailing the role of billboards in an outdoor campaign.
