AUCKLAND, Today: Former Saatchi & Saatchi NZ CCO Toby Talbot is returning to the DDB network as chief creative officer for C14TORCE, the SEAT-dedicated agency in Barcelona.

Aussie site Campaign Brief reports that Talbot will fill the role vacated by Amir Kassaei who announced his retirement from advertising earlier this month. He joins newly appointed ceo Aussie expat Nicole Taylor and chief strategy officer Ant Warne.

Taylor said: “Toby is a world class creative leader, charmingly provocative and with the right edge to continue Amir’s legacy, inspire the team and create great work for SEAT and Cupra.

“I’m thrilled to join forces with Nic again. I’ve missed her passion for the business and her fearless leadership.”

“We’ve worked together previously, and since then we’ve both grown and learnt from different experiences, so I am looking forward to reconnecting and partnering with him on this wonderfully ambitious client in the beautiful setting of Barcelona.”

Talbot held the role of CCO at Saatchi & Saatchi NZ for three years. Originally from the UK, he resigned last week to move to Europe to be closer to his family.
