AUCKLAND, Wednesday: Val Morgan has announced the reactivation of its VMO Work network as many employees return to their offices following the easing of alert levels across New Zealand.

The VMO Work network will progressively switch on its screens over the coming weeks, with the network, consisting of 135 screens across 75 locations, set to be fully operational by 15 June.

VMO NZ sales director Matt Tremain said: “A suite of post-lockdown launch partners have been secured, signposting the advertising market’s eagerness to return to the environment.

“As the largest office tower media network in New Zealand, we’re very pleased to be able to reactivate our screens which target busy, hardworking professionals who are often time poor and difficult to reach through more traditional channels.

“Our primary audience spends, on average, eight hours a day in an office environment, which indicates the essential role that VMO Work plays in accessing this audience.”

Utilising its propriety audience measurement tool DART, VMO has recorded significant increases in audiences in the Work environment week-on-week. This signals a return of +64% of the VMO Work audience in just one week of eased restrictions, which allowed businesses to return to the workplace.

VMO will continue to track audience traffic and engagement and will update the market on the audience growth as more employees resume their normal routine in the coming weeks.

“We anticipate media agency planners and buyers will see audience numbers return quickly to pre-lockdown levels as New Zealanders get back to business,” Tremain said.
