Viva moves into online retail

APN has launched ShopViva, a fashion e-commerce collaboration between GrabOne, the third biggest e-commerce platform in New Zealand, and Viva, The New Zealand Herald’s flagship lifestyle magazine.

ShopViva is home to a curated collection of New Zealand and international labels and designers, giving a fashion-conscious audience easy access to their favourite fashion products complete with free delivery New Zealand-wide.

Viva Editor Amanda Linnell says ShopViva will provide readers with easy and instant access to fashion products they read about in Viva every Wednesday.

“Viva’s readers are sophisticated and informed. They see Viva as a highly-trusted source of targeted lifestyle content: the best of fashion, beauty, design, eating out and culture. ShopViva will allow consumers to buy what they see in the comfort of their own homes via their phones, tablets or computers. Viva is constantly looking for ways to engage with people who love to live life well, and ShopViva is the next logical step.”

The GrabOne team has leveraged their ecommerce expertise and platform to build ShopViva.  GrabOne general manager Ryan Watkins says Viva is an influential voice in New Zealand fashion, and a partnership between the two creates incredible opportunities for local brands, designers and consumers alike.

The e-commerce platform GrabOne has developed enables us to move into more retail areas, so collaborating with Viva on a new high-end fashion e-commerce platform made perfect sense. Linnell says Viva continues to grow into a multi-media force.
