Vodafone goes with the warm fuzzies

FCB has fallen back on the tried and true to get Vodafone’s new Xmas commercial to the masses. The ad stars James Rolleston – without the likeable smartarse element. This time around he’s pure Christmassy schmaltz.

“Christmas is time for family, friends and loved ones to come together, but it’s just not the same when someone is not there,” says the blurb from phone company. “The Vodafone 4G network helps you share Christmas with those not with you.”

The ad’s called Vodafone Christmas – Dinner for Two.
