LONDON, Today: Special is the only NZ agency through in the first round of shortlists for the WARC Awards for Effectiveness 2022 (held in association with the Cannes Lions).
Special succeeded with two pieces of work, both in the Collaboration & Culture category – Tourism NZ Do Something New, New Zealand, and Motor Neurone Disease NZ David’s Unmentionables.
The US leads the category with seven entries shortlisted, followed by New Zealand with two. Costa Rica, Lebanon and the United Kingdom have one each.
“The Gold, Silver and Bronzes for each of the six categories will be announced at the Cannes Lions festival on 23 June.”
The remaining shortlists for the Brand Purpose, Instant Impact and Sustained Growth categories will be announced this Wednesday 8 June.
The winners of the Gold, Silver and Bronze awards for each of the six categories will be announced throughout the day at the Cannes Lions festival – on Thursday 23 June.
The Grands Prix winners will be revealed during the Effectiveness Show, broadcast online from Cannes Lions at the end of the same day.
